INFORMATION FOR COLLECTORS

ADDING MY WORK TO YOUR COLLECTION

1. Send an e-mail to me with the name(s) of the original painting or drawing in which you are interested. If you are interested in purchasing limited edition prints, please also indicate the title and quantity of each.

2. Once I receive your e-mail, I will send you a confirmation of your order, plus any other information that you requested. 

3. Send me your order by e-mail. Please include  your name and shipping address, and the payment method you prefer. In addition to personal checks, cash, and money orders, I am now accepting Paypal and all major credit cards (Visa, American Express, Discover) online. All credit card transactions are billed online via the secured Paypal e-mail invoice service. 

4. Once full payment is received, your painting is shipped to you. (Depending on availability, limited edition giclees prints may be shipped to you up to 4 weeks after receipt of payment.) Both original art and limited edition giclee prints are accompanied by a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

FREE SHIPPING POLICY

 I am now offering free shipping to US addresses on any internet orders of my original paintings and limited edition prints. (This free shipping policy does not apply to commissioned pet portraits at this time.)

AVAILABILITY OF MY ORIGINAL WORK

Please contact me to learn the availability of the original paintings and drawings in which you are interested. Do note that even if a certain work is in an exhibition or gallery, it is still available to be collected through those entities.

Other works currently not on this web site are also available. If you are interested in paintings of a certain size, topic, or general colors, or if you'd like to see a painting that you have seen before but do not currently see on this site, let me know.  I can also e-mail close-ups of paintings, so that you can better judge the merits of adding them to your collection.

COMMISSIONED WORK

I do accept commissioned work, that is, paintings or drawings whose subjects you choose, and which are executed to your personal specifications. Read my Commission FAQ page for more information about landscapes, and the Pet Portrait FAQ page for more information about pet portraits. 

GETTING THE PAINTING, DRAWING, OR LIMITED EDITION PRINT TO YOU

I take great care in shipping my work. All original paintings and drawings are shipped insured via Fed Ex in a special heavy-duty shipping box. Due to safety and insurance regulations, all framed originals are shipped with plexiglass glazing, instead of glass. Limited edition prints are rolled and shipped USPS priority mail.

QUALITY

If you collect my work, be assured that you are collecting truly original, hand painted art, and truly limited edition prints. Each painting or print is sent to you with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by me.

RETURN POLICY

I want all my collectors to be happy with my work! And I realize that it is particularly difficult to choose art over the internet. As a result, I offer my internet collectors the following return option: All original paintings shipped to you may be returned within one week from receipt*, with full purchase price reimbursement (does not include return shipping charges). *The painting must be returned in the same condition in which it was originally sent, and returned using the same shipping container and shipping service.

YOUR PRIVACY

I do not share or sell any of my collectors addresses. As a collector you are automatically included on my mailing list for my newsletter "Heywood Art News" and my exhibition announcements. If you would rather keep up with my news via this site than receive those mailings, just let me know and I will remove your address.
